We are hiring a System Director, Quality and Risk Management  for our growing team! As the System Director, Quality and Risk Management, you will lead a team of quality management professionals to promote and restore clients' health by helping to develop day-to-day process and quality improvements. Helps to develop and implement staff training; collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary professional staff to determine best practices; providing physical and psychological support for clients, friends, and families. Promotes a cohesive working environment across all pillars of ARC’s program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and direct VP of Quality and Risk Management as well as the VP of Quality Assurance
  • Conduct weekly meetings with quality management staff
  • Site visit of all centers required a minimum of every quarter
  • Educational training and development for staff in conjunction with the compliance and operations teams
  • Maintains current policies and procedures as well as make recommendations for edited or additional P&P to executive supervisor as warranted
  • Assures quality of care by developing and interpreting medical changes initiated within the organization, from regulatory bodies and evidenced

based standards of care; enforcing adherence to state board of nursing and state nurse practice act requirements and to other governing agency regulations; measuring health outcomes against standards; making or recommending adjustments.

  • Monitors and reports on the adherence to ARC programming and policy. Helps to ensures client care requirements are met on an ongoing basis.
  • Aides in the staff’s ability to foster a compassionate environment by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual support to clients, friends, and families.
  • Audit expected efficiencies and provide feedback to management team
  • Provides information to management so it can be shared with clients and the healthcare team by answering questions and requests.
  • Assist in resolution of client and stakeholder needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
  • Participate in growth and development meetings and projects
  • Maintains a safe and clean working environment by designing and recommending procedures, rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from other healthcare professionals.
  • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies.
  • Maintains a cooperative relationship among healthcare teams by communicating information; responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
  • Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional working relationship with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s staff and consumers alike.
  • Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.
  • Protect the privacy of all persons served/clients’ information in accordance with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc. 's privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by federal and state law, and in accordance with the general principle of

professionalism as a healthcare provider. Failure to comply with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

  • Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
  • Performs other duties assigned

Key Experience and Education Needed:

  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management, nursing, or similar degree.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program preferred
  • Minimum of five years healthcare experience
  • Two years of demonstrated leadership preferred

Other Qualifications to be Considered:

  • Must have good clinical judgment
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to work efficiently under time constraints
  • Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
  • Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Must be able to maintain and create a safe and effective environment
  • Knowledge and experienced with ASAM
  • Attention to detail and organization a must.
  • Adhere to Confidentiality requirements as outlined in 42 CFR, Part 2.
  • Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment or Chrome.
  • Knowledge of the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual impact of alcohol and other drugs on the individual and family
  • Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of alcoholism and drug addiction
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle crisis situations in a calm and supportive manner
  • Ability to exhibit professional and courteous behavior, consistent with the ARC mission statement, when interacting with persons of varying backgrounds and education levels to create a safe and healthy relationship with clients served
  • Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to read detailed health records
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
  • Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office
  • Must have sufficient mobility to move around the office and the community
