We are hiring a Medical Manager for our growing team! The Medical Manager will primarily be responsible for: 

Key Responsibilities:
Identifies missed client services and develops action plans in collaboration with the charge nurse
to prevent future missed services.
Monitor the intake spreadsheet and update as needed. Ensure that center level intake assessments
are completed timely.
Review medical send-outs and ensure all protocol has been followed.
Review medical related incident reports for accuracy and provide feedback to the team for
improvements.
Maintains center level records to ensure all medical staff are up to date on licensure, CPR and
evaluations.
In collaboration with the Charge nurse, teaches Day 3 medical orientation when needed.
Precepts non-nursing medical staff when needed.
Assists the charge nurse in the scheduling of required job duties of both licensed and non-licensed
medical staff.
Maintains disciplinary action records in collaboration with Human Resources.
Maintains time and attendance records in collaboration with the Charge Nurse.
Prepares time and attendance disciplinary action per attendance protocol for Charge Nurse to
deliver.
Assists in verifying, approving and scheduling medically necessary off site appointments.
Assists in completing Nursing Encounters and medication passes when needed.
In collaboration with the Charge Nurse, ensures MAT policy and protocols are followed
Resolves client needs by utilizing multidisciplinary team strategies.
Maintains a safe and clean working environment by designing and implementing procedures,
rules, and regulations; calling for assistance from other healthcare professionals.
Protects clients and employees by developing and interpreting infection-control policies and
protocols; enforcing medication administration, storage procedures, and controlled substance
regulations.
o Ensures that antibiotics/anit-viral therapy compliance for those who should be receiving
per medical provider orders.
Maintains client confidence and protects operations by monitoring confidential information
processing.
Work closely with the Corporate Medical Operations Team to maintain documentation of client
care services by auditing client, facility specific records, and providing detailed reports as needed.
Ensures operation of medical and administrative equipment by verifying emergency equipment
availability; completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's
instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs; maintaining equipment
inventories; evaluating new equipment and techniques.
Maintains medical supplies inventory by studying usage reports; identifying trends; anticipating
needed supplies; approving requisitions and cost allocations.
Maintains a cooperative relationship among health care teams by communicating information;
responding to requests; building rapport; participating in team problem-solving methods.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
Maintain a positive, respectful, and professional working relationship with Addiction Recovery
Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s staff and consumers alike.
Prioritizes personal dependability and maintains excellent attendance
Bring policy/personnel issues to supervision as they arise.
Protect the privacy of all persons served/clients’ information in accordance with Addiction
Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc. 's privacy policies, procedures, and practices, as required by
federal and state law, and in accordance with the general principle of professionalism as a
healthcare provider. Failure to comply with Addiction Recovery Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s
policies and procedures on persons served/client privacy may result in disciplinary action up to
and including termination of employment.
Expected to report, without the threat of retaliation, any concerns regarding Addiction Recovery
Care Center/Odyssey, Inc.’s policies and procedures on patient privacy and any observed
practices in violation of the policy to their supervisor.
Performs other duties assigned.

Key Experience and Education Needed:
High School Diploma or equivalent
CNA preferred
Five or more years of direct healthcare experience

Other Qualifications to be Considered:
Must have good clinical judgment
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
Able to work efficiently under time constraints
Strong leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively with a large team
Able to handle multiple assignments simultaneously
Must be able to maintain and create a safe and effective environment
Administering Medication
Adult Health
Knowledge and experienced with ASAM
Attention to detail and organization a must.
Adhere to Confidentiality requirements as outlined in 42 CFR, Part 2.
Computer literate with experience in a Windows environment or Chrome.
Knowledge of the physical, emotional, intellectual and spiritual impact of alcohol and other drugs
on the individual and family
Knowledge of Federal, State and Municipal laws and/or regulations that regulate the treatment of
alcoholism and drug addiction
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle crisis situations in a calm and supportive manner
Ability to exhibit professional and courteous behavior, consistent with the ARC mission
statement, when interacting with persons of varying backgrounds and education levels to create a
safe and healthy relationship with clients served
Ability to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
Ability to read detailed health records
Ability to lift and carry up to 10 lbs.
Ability to operate computer and other equipment in the office
Must have sufficient mobility to move around the office and the community
