We are looking for a TCADC to join our team. SAP Clinicians will oversee all clinical client files associated with Kenton County Detention Center’s Jail Substance Abuse Program (JSAP). JSAP Clinicians will also facilitate groups and curriculums in accordance with the KCDC JSAP Policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Facilitates groups and curriculums in accordance with the KCDC JSAP Policy.
- Records participants’ progress in digital and/or hard copy format.
- Implements individual client’s treatment plans.
- Performs screenings, assessments, and intake procedures as indicated by AODE licensure requirements.
- Participates in the interdisciplinary team.
- Responsible for constructing individualized treatment plans for all clients.
- Meets a minimum requirement of twenty-six hours of direct client care.
- Maintains a respectful relationship with clients.
- Maintains confidentiality and displays a professional disposition towards fellow staff.
- Completes all documentation by the end of the business day.
- Meets all billing requirements.
- Participates in staff and state regulatory training as required.
- Adheres to program policies and procedures while maintaining a professional code of ethics.
- Performs other duties assigned.

Key Experience and Education Needed:
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent years of experience in a related field preferred.
- Master’s Degree in Counseling or Social Work preferred
- CADC Active Licensure
- TCADC Active Licensure
- A JSAP Clinician shall complete twelve (12) hours of specialized training in relative fields of interest, and a clinician who provides case management shall complete twelve (12) hours of specialized training in case management, within one (1) year from the effective date of this administrative regulation or within six (6) months from the date of assuming responsibility for that function, whichever is later.
